How we hit a 48-hour dispatch SLA across the UAE

The operating disciplines behind a same-week promise: warehouse zoning, wave-picking, 3PL scoring, and a weekly ageing review that catches problems early.

A 48-hour dispatch SLA in the UAE sounds simple until you scale past 280 SKUs and 1,500 doors. It becomes an operational discipline — not a marketing claim.

Warehouse zoning by velocity

We zone the warehouse by pick velocity, not by brand. Top 20% of SKUs sit closest to the dispatch dock, cutting travel time per line by roughly a third.

Wave-picking and cut-offs

Fixed daily cut-offs and disciplined wave-picking keep the pick face predictable. Rush orders get a separate wave — they don't disrupt the main flow.

3PL scorecards

Every last-mile partner gets a weekly scorecard: on-time %, damage rate, first-attempt success. Partners who fall below threshold move down the priority list automatically.

Weekly ageing review

Every Monday we review stock ageing, backorders and expiry risk in one meeting. Small problems get caught here — never in a customer email.
